Ruthless Mentor operates the website at ruthlessmentor.com, which provides honest manuscript reviews to authors.
You own your manuscript. Full stop. Submitting it for review does not transfer any rights or ownership to us. We do not republish, resell, or distribute your writing. Your review is stored so you can access it later via a shareable link or your account dashboard. You can request deletion of any stored manuscript at any time through our contact page.
To run this site and deliver your review, we gather a small set of information from you. That includes basic identifiers like your name and email, any username you use on the site, your IP address, and general technical information about the device and browser you're using. We also keep track of how you interact with the site so we can improve it over time. And of course, we store the manuscript text and any details you provide along with it when you submit a review.
Everything we collect is used for a simple list of purposes: delivering the services you asked us for, keeping our agreements with you, letting you know about updates or changes to the site, improving how the product works, and handling normal business obligations like tax and accounting. Nothing else. Your information is never sold, rented, or traded.

Payments are processed by a secure third-party payment processor. We never see or store your credit card details.
Some pages on this site may link out to other companies and services. Once you leave our site, this policy no longer applies. If you follow a link somewhere else, take a moment to read the privacy practices of whichever site you end up on.

Our service is intended for adult authors. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time as the site evolves. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we'll try to let you know directly — but we recommend checking in once in a while to see where things stand. Continuing to use the site after an update means you're on board with the new version. If you're not, you can always close your account.
